The Luxury of Empty Spaces
In modern life, we are constantly seen. In the office, on busy streets, on social media — even in the mirror. Always noticed, assessed, compared. Here on the Wild Coast, you get to step away from all that. Here, there is enough space for you simply to be — without performing, without striving, without fear of being judged or found wanting.
The empty beaches that stretch to the horizon give you space to return to yourself — to move freely, breathe deeply, and, just for a moment, borrow your horse’s wings and feel the freedom of flight.
Whether walking , trotting or cantering, you’ll settle into a rhythm with your horse —a rhythm that slows the breath, stills the mind, and allows your body to move in a way that strengthens the muscles in your heart as much as those in your thighs!
That brings you back a time before motorcars and jumbo jets, when life was slower, simpler, and measured by the rise and fall of the sun rather than the tick of a clock.
As winter descends over the northern hemisphere, shrouding it in a chilly darkness that hurries you indoors and encourages you to hibernate on a cosy sofa, imagine letting your body breathe again.
Picture yourself soaking up the warm sun while a fresh sea breeze draws a deep, cleansing breath from your lungs, carrying away the heaviness of months spent inside. Feel the sand beneath your feet, the rhythm of the waves, and the pounding hooves of your horse beneath you.
Even now, as the northern winter tightens its grip, there are still spaces open on our trails early next year — a chance to step into a different rhythm, where the beaches are long and empty, the horses ready, and it feels as if the world is opening up before you.
